Guidance Notes on Age Groups
Age groupings: Age groups are effective on 31st August/1st September at the beginning of the season the matches are to be played.

The RFU Continuum applies in all cases. No player can play outside his/her age group.

Insurance: Any child playing out of age group will not automatically be insured. The Club provides some Accident, Death & Disability insurance via the RFU Scheme. Details are available on request. However, it is up to the individual parent/guardian to supplement this minimal cover through their own insurers/advisers.

A RESPONSIBLE ADULT MUST BE IN ATTENDANCE DURING TRAINING & MATCHES THAT INVOLVES A CHILD UNDER 10 YEARS OF AGE.

Authorisation for emergency medical treatment. I give my consent for the medical examination and/or dental treatment of my child when necessary and I request that any operation or any other measures considered necessary, by a medical authority for my child’s diagnosis or treatment, shall be performed and I hereby give my permission for such operation or other measures to be carried out in an emergency only, and for the administration for a general or local anaesthetic if necessary

These forms will be used in the strictest confidence. It will be retained by the Club Coaching staff for use by a qualified practitioner in the case of an emergency only.
