Stratford under 10 Tigers team, which was made up of Ben Parker, Nick Von Sydow, James Wheeler, Nathen Reeves, Hugo Pearman, Scott Barnett, Jorden Dowsett, William Smith, Alex Edwards, Yanto Davies, Ted McDonald, Rajan Phakey and George Mason were playing Worcester in their first match. The Tigers put up a hard defense but were overwhelmed by Worcester’s strength which resulted in a quick try. The Tigers could not stop the powerful flow which soon resulted in another Worcester try.  This spurred the Tigers on and a pass out by Barnett, aided by Edwards, gave Dowsett the opportunity to run down the line for the Tigers first try.  Unfortunately Worcester continued the pressure and came out winners 25/5.

Next the Tigers came up against Droitwich. The Tigers camped themselves in there half looking for that elusive try.  Droitwich made only two breaks but this was all it needed to score two tries.  In the second half it was Droitwich who attacked and the Tigers defended with great determination, but there was nothing stopping the strength of Droitwich, who were victorious 25/0.

Although the score lines were disappointing, the Tigers played exceptionally well as a team which gives them a great foundation for next season.
