Stratford Under 12's finished the final tour of their mini rugby career in Somerset this weekend and were unbeaten, which completes an incredible record of six tours including Cornwall (twice), Norfolk, Bournemouth and and Blackpool without losing a fixture.

Stratford travelled to generous hosts Wells - and got off to a cracking start.  Scrum half Chris Short set the scoreboard ticking, scoring from a chargedown and pass from Crabtree.  Prop John Wyles crashed over the line to score the second.  Centre partnership Ollie Crabtree and Ollie Houlton scored a try each before half time with typical determined running weaving their way throught the Wells defence. Stratford's forwards dominated possession allowing the backs to score at will; Ollie Bell at full back joined the line linking with the centres to score. Prop Robin Sreenavasaprasad powered over the line to score one for the forwards followed by No 8 Jerome Marcel who ran through the Wells defence from the half-way line.  Will Roberts and Ollie Houlton quickly followed on with tries of their own.  Conversions were kicked by Harry Huckerby and Daniel Perry.  Final Score Stratford 61 - Wells 0

The following day Stratford travlled to Nailsea and Backwell for a three way fixture playing the home team and visiting side Cheddar with Yatton.  In the first march,  against C-w-Y, Stratford started with efficiency, running with pace and driving the rucks. Archie Parker linked beautifully with Ollie Crabtree to score on the wing as the C-w-Y defence struggled to align.  Stratford added a second as their strong running backs took advantage of lax defence for Ollie Crabtree to crash over. In the second half, C-w-Y changed tactics to disrupt Stratford ball and deny Stratford's backs possession. Stratford forwards stood up well to the much bigger C-w-Y pack.   Immense pressure from C-w-Y eventually resulted in a try from a lineout on the Stratford line.  Stratford's defence however held firm until the final whistle. Final score Stratford 10 - Cheddar with Yatton 5.

The final match of the tour against hosts Nailsea and Backwell was a tough match with two very well balanced, Stratford score first, with Sreenavasprasad scoring after a period of pressure close to the N&B line.  N&B regrouped and eventually equalised.  Both sides were equally committed in an intense second half . Stratford were determined to keep their unbeaten record and a rampaging Sreenavasprasad eventually muscled his way through the Nailsea pack to score the winning try.  Final score Stratford 10 - Nailsea and Backwell 5
