Girls' rugby has started again at Stratford, coached by Caz Farris. Caz has been playing rugby for 12 years and has been a coach since 2002. She is a Level 2 RFU coach and has coached various ages, clubs and representative sides. Most recently has been coach for Old Leams senior, U18 and U15 ladies and Warwickshire U18 girls’ forwards coach.
She saw a need in South Warwickshire to provide quality club based training sessions for girls from 13 upwards to give them the chance to play competitively and therefore develop their skills.
Training at Stratford is every other Tuesday from 18:30. The focus for this season is on the U15 age group but all ages and abilities are welcome. All the planned training dates for the season are under the ‘Fixtures’ tab on the left hand side, as well as county and regional dates. Details of matches, leagues and representative possibilities will be distributed as the new season starts.

Girls' rugby in South Warwickshire
Stratford RFC is working with two local sides, Berkswell and Balsall RFC and Old Leamingtonians RFC, to deliver the best possible rugby opportunities for girls in South Warwickshire, at both U15 and U18 level. Each club runs skill based training sessions at the club but we are developing a relationship in which we cluster together for organised game-related practice and matches.
The training times, dates and appropriate age groups (U15 unless otherwise stated) for all three clubs can be found under ‘fixtures’ on the left hand side. All 3 clubs sessions are open to any girls affiliated to any of the clubs. Work is underway to organise matches in the new year, once the county program is finished.
